A significant part of DISTRICT's  activities entails implementing a number of sub-projects. These are trans-national initiatives bringing together selected partners from different regions to practically endorse DISTRICT'S objectives and themes.  Eleven such sub-projects were approved through a trans-national call in June 2006. By their practical approach, sub-projects show how to make efficient use of innovative resources in the regions and deliver suitable development tools in the new european context. This section highlights subprojects' main features and keeps an informed eye on their development and achievements.
